Dalton Jacobs rolls to 602 Late Model victory at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
Prepping for Crystal Cup at Natural Bridge Speedway
REIDSVILLE, N.C. (8/27/24) – Dalton Jacobs enjoyed a triumphant return to Victory Lane over the weekend with a 602 Late Model win on Saturday night at Ultimate Motorsports Park aboard his Victory First Services LLC / Brand Benton Trucking No. 11B Longhorn Chassis Late Model.
The Reidsville, N.C., pilot went third-to-first on lap 12 of the feature and paced the remainder of the 20-lapper to claim his second win of the 2024 campaign.
“Big thanks to my crew and all of the sponsors on this car, “ Jacobs said. “This was my second win of the season but first at Ultimate (Motorsports Park), so I am pretty excited. To win it in front of all these awesome fans, it's an awesome feeling.”
Jacobs returned to action on Saturday afternoon with a visit to Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) to compete in the 604 and 602 Late Model portions of the Ultimate Showdown.
After turning in a third-place finish in the 604 feature, Jacobs started the 602 A-Main in third and quickly worked his way forward. Dalton pounced into the lead on lap 13 and ran away with his second 602 triumph of the season. He finished 0.665 seconds ahead of Bobby Jones with Nathan Walker rounding out the podium.

Jacobs is gearing up to invade Virginia on Friday for the American All-Star Series’ Crystal Cup at Natural Bridge Speedway. The team is still evaluating their options for the remainder of the Labor Day weekend.
